Kaleidoscopes

Etymological origin: Greek kállos, beauty + eîdos, what is seen, form + -scope.
Symmetrical images that self-reflect (mirror) creating new images and patterns.
They represent the constant movement of everything and the relative movement of attention to something.
To me, they portray an intrinsic aspect of all intentional art, which is the courtship between consciousness and creation.

There is always an initial moment of observation and an alteration in the perception of time.
Is it a slowdown?
In capturing beauty, I slow down, I observe, I breathe, I breathe with what is.
With my attention I absorb all that is that moment, I greet its movement with my presence, until we cease to distinguish each other.
There I see.
I see shapes, movements, beings, stories and mandalas of light and color.
